Hey all,

Just wondering, I have some friends going to Singapore soon and am thinking about getting them to pick up some PS3 games for me while they are there.

Now being region free, I guess the S/pore NTSC games would play on my PAL ps3. Correct?

Are there any noticable differences between PAL and NTSC games. The games I was looking at would save me about AU$40 each at a guess.

Also, will I run into to any problems with the game? PS3? or my TV that people know or have heard of?

Hey Stonecold, thanks for the reply. I wish I had a plasma but I have a 119cm Panasonic rear projection. It's only SD but it's says in the manual it's capable of getting 1080i but can't seem to get any better than 576.

You need a component cable (the red/blue/green cable) that will allow you to reach 1080i. But i would recommend using 720p. if you dont understand why, do a quick google search of 1080i vs 720p.
