I have had a number of Sony walkmen over the years and I am using Sonic stage to manage and transfer music to my psp and hdd walkman. My mate has recently bought a PS3 and I took over my psp loaded with movies, pictures and music to drop on to his machine. The moivies went over well as well did the photos. However when I went to copy over my music files only the mp3's would transfer and not the ATRAC music.
This is a worry as when I get my own PS3 I want to transfer all my music files as a way of backing them up and listinging to them when I'm gaming.
Is there a way of doing this? Does the PS3 read and play ATRAC music? Is an ethernet cable between my laptop and PS3 the answer? Would that allow SonicStage to read the PS3hdd as a music storage device?
I am fairly noobie about all this.
