Playstation 3 Hardware \ 40 gig or 60 gig PS3 ???

Hi all,, i have a choice to make regarding faulty PS3. I can either wait for a repaired 60gig PS3 to replace mine, or they have offered me a brand new 40gig PS3 in a box, plus the extra value in games.

im tempted to the new 40 as its not a reco one.

Harvey Norman are being fantastic , they have offered to let me have a new GT prologue 40 gig package plus the difference in games or something. And they take the 60 gig when it comes back eventually.

That they have... Seen 60gb sell for huge prices, was hunting for one for awhile myself. Wanted to get hold of one and sell off the 40gb just for the backwards compatibility. Now they are becoming harder to get a hold off without paying a bucket load.

mm,, i know what yer all sayin.. But really, i dont want the hassle. I can get a 40gig and $300 back in my pocket without the trouble of trying to sell it. So i get the $1000 for the 60 gig realistically anyway.

Whose to say that won't break down. You should keep your 60gig ps3 cause their rare now. Warranty or no waranty I'd take it a repair shop to get it fixed within a week, better then waiting 4weeks to get it back from sony
