Hey Guys,

I JUST got my ps3 last weekend.... so I'm still adjusting to the controls.

I'm currently playing gt5 prologue. I have all the driving assitance set to high, but I was wondering if traction control should eb set to 10? or lower? I've noticed when it is set to 10 I seem to run a much slower race....

What settings do people have?

The more traction control you use, means less power and drive out of the corner, as the traction control kicks in. This is especially notiable on daytona speedway. Do a lap with it at 10, then turn it off and do a lap and see with is faster. The same thing will happen with stability control. Turned on you lose power as the car slows from the stability kicking in.

Try and get used to driving without the aids, it takes a bit of getting used to but you will be a better and quicker driver in the long run.

Anti Skid - On
Traction - 0
Tires - Sports
All aids - off

i have everything off, that is Traction 0, aids 0 everything 0, with my gear ratios, i tend to spread them out, i dont no why, ive noticed quicker lap times

Its vital on some of the one lap mission events to have all aids OFF in order to get gold otherwise its virtually impossible.

I have all the aids turned off, you will spin and loose traction like crazy going in and out of corners with some cars..like the Ferrari F430, but after a while you will learn how to control the car.
