Playstation 3 Hardware \ Sony Turn-Around Times?

Im rather frustrated with the sony support turn around time its taking for my beloved PS3 back and i was wondering if you could share the dates that you:
a)sent it
b)sony recieved it
c)sony sent you the email its on its way
d)the day it fell back into your arms

I know australia post isnt the best at times and especially when im in perth having to send to sydney.

Its only early days but still... I sent mine on the 03/04 and they received on the 10/04 and nothing further as yet

15-20 business days from when they receive it, so if they got it on the 10/04 then you would be waiting till the 1st of next month but thats only 15 days so you could be waiting an extra 5, they are usually back to you in around 1 month from the time you send it to them until its back to you.

They verbally say 2 weeks for a refurb, an email says 4 weeks so I was annoyed at that.
I didn't get an email telling me it was ready, it just arrived at my door exactly 31 days from date of shipping.

Why not just get a new HDD? Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade

Both consoles are primed to piss off everyone from one way or another so stop thinking about the what if's....Sony and the PS3 service sucks hard because you dont have a concrete date on when you get your console back when it sh!ts itself..so it could take up to a month... and Microsoft's 360 has a common fever known as the red ring of f4rk ups....see what im getting at....both services are pretty lousy in their own ways....as poor old customers, its something we have to live and deal with.

12/05/08 they sent it back(supposably)
14/05/08 it arrived at my door

I never recieved an email saying it was on its way
