This also converts a ps2 controller to pc. Well the one i've seen does.

You can use it top play gh1 and 2 but not gh3.

cant i use the ps2 guitar to play gh3 or gh:wt on the ps3?

my ps3 isnt backward compatible as its the 40gb model.

1: yes it makes sense that to play gh1 or 2 you would need the game.
2: No you cant. NO.
3: well then why ask. you cant play gh 1 or 2 on a 40 gig ps3. Nor can you use this adapter to make it work. Buy a new guitar.

i found a converter which supports the ps2 guitar hero guitar on the ps3 anyways.

How would you play the game without the disk? It does support the controller but not with gh3 or wt only the ps2 versions of the game.
