I dont its my birthday so its a surprise. Now i am kinfa annoyed I have like 20 PS2 games but I heard it can not play them is there any way this can be fixed

1. If you have the 40GB console then no
2. It is sometimes said to get warm kinda quick.

1) yea get a 60gb console thats PAL (if your PS2 games are PAL) and
2) again as Kazuma mentioned, what type of tv do you have?

You could find some old stock somewhere. Do a ring around or a google search for one.
I'm sure you could hunt a pre-loved PS3 down.
There's one on ebay now for a pricey $980 with 3 games!
You'd have to be desperate.
