Hey peeps i just picked up a new DVD lens cleaner disc recently and thought nothing about using it in my PS3,but an attendant at Harvey Norman informed me it may not be safe as the fabric used to brush the lens may harm the BluRay lens as it's more delicate,so does anyone know whether or not it is safe to use??

Umm.... you really don't understand the concept of contactless media technology?

You clean the lens to remove dust. There should be no reason it's not safe. You pop the disc in, it brushes the lens clean, the PS3 gives a read error and you pop it back out again. Job done.
