hi,
just bought time crisis 4 and an extra guncon to play muti player. To be able to use the extra guncon on the 40gb system you need a multiple usb plug in. Can anyone recommend one that suits the ps3 and if so tell me i could buy one.

I'm jealous. At the time I was in the market for a PS3 ... I just simply couldn't win an eBay auction for a PS3 60GB.
Desperate ... I went to a retail store and bought the 40GB

You can use any USB hub. Most devices work pretty well without the need for external AC power.
