Well, as the thread topic suggests, what are your current thoughts on the latest Silent Hill title for PS3/360? To begin with i was disappointed that the Japan team tossed the franchise to a more unknown development group (The Collective), i was also concerned about the graphics, they were looking less than impressive.

But how times change, after seeing the latest screenshots and watching two recent gameplay videos, my faith is back. It really is looking like a genuinly sh!t scary experience.

That was scripted though...Alma would appear in the same places at the same times, making the second playthrough pointless and less scary.

The videos were funtastic! One of them also reminds me of the movie Hostel (more like the sequel), wonder if there was somebody bidding to get into your cell to massacre on that stretch-board?!? Scary thought.

I do expect quite a lot from this new sequel, but I suspect the gameplay won't be disimilar to the previous games and may have some repetitive killing sprees which may become a little dull after awhile!

Nonetheless, I will get this as part of my Collective collection and try not to play it alone in the dark!

Krakenia: I expect a full blown in-depth review of this game from you as soon as you get it! Agreed??
