Both those models are Full HD as you proberly know mickyt888, Im no expert but size is basically the difference in the price & the 40cm has Photo TV HD.

Id spend the extra $200 & go for the 40cm, 8 inches is a fair size difference, it just depends where your putting the TV I suppose.

yeh but there is something wrong its 20cm bigger and only 200 more i thought it would be around $2500

There be nothing wrong with it, they all come with warranty, just maybe they trying to get rid of as many 40in TVs as they can as it might be the one most in stock.

nah because this is the 1st 1080p 32" LCD it still costs them almost as much to make as the 40", the whole reason these have only just come onto the market was because manufacturing costs have been able to be lowered making it a viable option for Full HD LCD. This TV will be awesome, in either 32" or 40". Personally i reckon go for the 40"

For the extra $200 I strongly recommend you go for the 40inch as 1080p is worth it if your TV is big(ger).
The V series is the mid-line BRAVIA series, what sets it apart from the more expensive W series is that the W are 10bit, compared to the V's 8bit. The more "bit" the more image depth you can view.
However for that price you should get it asap in time for the free PS3 promotion - go to www.sony.com.au and there should be a counter for how many PS3s are still up for grabs.
Negotiate with the JB-HiFi salesman because you can probably get that TV for around $200 cheaper? Otherwise get them to give you extra warranty incase they cannot give you a cheaper price.

Michael, I used to have a 66cm CTR TV, but when I first got the Bravia 46' at home I was astounded as to how big the size of the TV was compared to my old one.
....now it looks tiny and I want a bigger one

Ugh i know how that feels... my 42" is way too small now.. i used to love it. When i get my tax back i think ill upgrade to 50" for my bedroom

You can probably get the TV for $1900 and sell the PS3 for $600. So you're basically paying $1300 for a decent 1080p 40inch TV

Yeah LG is not a bad tv i got a 94cm LCD about a year ago, hasn't missed a beat.
