hi i have good source of this info to beleave that the PS3 will run a copyed game with no Mod chip needed
First must ask have any one seen a debugging unitof the PS3 there were a fair few going around before the JAPAN release then USA release
2 different ones in the pictures were burnt games blue ray disc most sony brand of disc but no print on top disc just written GT4
these units came direct from scei from around the world so there just the game files burnt on to a Blue ray disc correct?
well this would mean u could go to video shop & get a game burn it and return the real game keeping a version no??? im not sure i dont have a Blue ray disc burner nor now if there talking bout back ups downloaded or copyed yourself
second ??? does any one in this forum have a lue Disc burner in there desktop PC???

Finally Paradox decided to release the PS3 exploit, and guess what, it's really easy to use! All you need is the PS3 controller and a secret button during PS3 boot which will disable the disc protection. You can load any backup after this!! To enable the exploit press the following buttons at the same time on the PS3 controller after power on; L1, L2, R1, R2, SELECT, START, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, press and hold while rotating both the analog sticks clockwise slowly then tap X distinctively once. It takes a while to get a hang of it, but it is worth the effort. Please note that some buttons might be hard to reach at the same time so get mate to help u
