Hi, just want to ask, is the upscaling for ps2 games automatic for firmware 1.8 ? Or is there somewhere we need to tweak for it to take effect ? thanks !

You have to go to the 'system settings' menu and enable upscaling within the new 'Game' submenu, you can also enable 'smoothing' which I think is what Sony calls anti-aliasing.

I remember on the ps2 you would have to make sure you switched on the texture mapping before playing ps1 games..

..it wouldnt save as a setting on the ps2.
