Social \ Gaming In 10 Years Time?

I have been thinking, and 10 years ago we were in the age of the N64 and PS1, 10 years later, we now have amazing consoles that are capable of incredible gameplay, graphics and much more, and by the looks of things, come 10 years down the track, we will have consoles that make the PS3/360 look ancient. What are your thoughts on the whole situation, and what do you think gaming will be like in 10 years?

But yeh, we will continue to see improvements in graphical quality but also in the ways we interact with our games. Things like the Wii and Eye toy will continue to evolve and get better. And you wont be buying a lot of games in stores any more, buy then everything will be downloaded straight to your PC, or console.

And as Longarms said, the way we interact with the game will change. Games could possibly be more based around motion censoring, movement, etc.

Totally agree, also expect a lot longer games, as HDD could be up to 1000's of Terabytes, or more. 10 years ago, 4GB HDD was massive for computers, now we have up to 1TB. The more HDD space, the bigger and better games can be.

yeah...but they would be able to make massive games like that tho i reckon... PHOTO realistc as in same streets and houses and stuff... it would be awesome... and ability to start - warp to different places around country

if we cant see past 50fps why do developers make games with 60fps?

if the innovative designs of the wiis controls and stuff are way more improved, imagine combining them with the graphics and power of the ps3

heres another idea, what if they made it so if you get shot in a game, you strap something on you which makes it feel realistic lol
