Playstation 3 Hardware \ Frozen PS3?

The other day I decided to play the Resistance demo, but after the PS3 logo appeared on the screen it just went black. I don't know if it was frozen or just slow, but it didn't seem to load after a minute or so, so I did the force shut down (hold down power button for 10 seconds) and turned it on again and then Resistance ran fine.

Later on, I was watching the LittleBigPlanet trailer from the US PSN (is it just me, or is the audio out of sync?) and I went straight into the Motorstorm demo and same thing, PS3 logo appears and then nothing. Turned off and on again, and it was fine...

Should I be worried, or is this normal?

dont worry i have a game like that del it normally work if you would just get a dry or soft cloth and give it a wipe for a couple of times that should so maybe you would want to try that before ringing sony

iv only ever had my ps3 freeze once when tryed to quit to the XMB wile the game was loading. but i'd sugest turning it off at its main switch at the back and back on again that might fix your problems

well that might be the problem with the ps3 at the moment is that there is no cooling stand or somethin to cool it down that is why it freezes man and if you turn it off you would have to wait a long time for it to cool down

if your ps3 is geting soo hot its freezeing up then theres somthing wrong with the unit. cause wile the ps3 may feel hot to the touch when running it has a realy good cooling sytem and its not gona over heat it self from normal use.

If it happens again, turn the system off at the main power switch at the back and leave it for a minute or so. Delete the RFOM demo and the instal it again. If it still continues, i don't know your proberly screwed

My console has froze up on a number of occasions. I just put it down to the ps3 being a system (like and unlike any other) that has it's burps and farts along the way. That said i'm not impressed one bit, my system isn't even 4 months old and all my games are in AAA condition.
