6:02am - Demo ends. Absolutely unbelievable. Set for release March 2010. Tretton is wrapping up. The keynote is finished.
5:58am - The demo is GOD alright - bloody, gory, violent. Gorgeous!
5:57am - It looks just as stunning as we expected it to. Absolutely amazing!
5:55am - Sony Santa Monica come on stage to show us GOWIII in action.
5:54am - Looks the goods. Very intense. Very fast. Hard house music playing.
5:53am - Amazing trailer. Very impressive. Tretton talking about a new game. Showing a teaser of GT5.
5:48am - The Last Guardian! It's the trailer leaked from a few weeks ago. With a big, cute cat like beast. It's a bit more polished. It looks gorgeous.
5:47am - Demo ends. Tratton back on stage. Giving us a sneak peak at another new game, exclusive for PS3. Team ICO!
5:44am - Track creator actually looks pretty good. Fantastic actually.
5:42am - Track Studio lets you create your own track. Gonna try and do it in under 5 minutes. Use the driving controls to make the track. A functional race track is working within seconds. They start dressing it up a bit. They add dirty etc. It allows you to change the surface type.
5:41am - Showing gameplay trailer. Looks cool. They wanted the most gorgeous racer ever. Weapons are included in the gameplay. It's Mario Kart - on cocaine.
5:40am - They're dressing up a monkey driver. Cool.
5:39am - Elaborating on "play, create and share". Wanted to create a racing title that used this emphasis. A kart racer. Looks like LBP - but a racing spin-off. Showing customization features.
5:38am - Tretton announces new franchise. Willion Ho and James Greeve come on stage to introduce Mod Nation Racers.
5:36am - Talking about LBP. More licensed content. Disney Interactive Studios content coming later this year.
5:35am - Demo is wrapped up. Tretton is back on stage. Motion Controller should be launched in Spring 2009 (our Autumn).
5:34am - Now showing a bow and arrow. We saw that 2 hours ago during Nintendo's keynote.
5:33am - Showing a demo with a sword and shield. Precision looks good. Bashing around a skeleton dummy.
5:32am - Painting now. Can be used to lay out a path of objects. Showing a RTS demo. Circling troops, then drawing a path for them to follow.
5:31am - Showing a whole bunch of demos. What can be done with the controller. Looks OK.
5:29am - controller can be used for a few things and tracks things in real time. Thing the Wii-mote. Exactly the same pretty much.
5:28am - Marx is holding a prototype. Has a glowing globe at the end of it. The PlayStation Eye tracks the controller.
5:27am - Dr. Richard Marx, creator of the EyeToy, comes on stage to talk about Motion Controller.
5:25am - Talking about Playstation Motion Controller.
5:24am - CGI trailer for Final Fantasy XIV Online.
5:22am - Trailer ends. Talks about Final Fantasy XIV. PS3 exclusive. Coming in 2010. Crowd is gobsmacked.
5:21am - This is better than what was shown during the 360 keynote. Far more intense. More character interaction. Awesome trailer.
5:19am - Trailer is starting up. Pretty much what we saw during the 360 keynote. Still looks awesome. More of a trailer than a demo this time round. Still pretty awesome.
5:18am - Tretton back on stage now. Talking about Square Enix and Final Fantasy. Showing a video.
5:17am - Demo ends. It looks really, really great! Very enjoyable. It's "massive in scope". Will be on store shelves this holiday season.
5:16am - Showing enemy AI and new combat. Hiding spots aren't as easy to find anymore. Over 30 different weapons. Ezio takes out his target and has to escape the oncoming enemies.
5:15am - Demo shows Ezio flying through the sky as fireworks go off. It looks amazing!
5:14am - There will be "friends" in the game. Leonardo Da Vinci will be a friend and allow you to use his inventions.
5:13am - Talking about Assassin's Creed 2. Showing a demo. Starts right at the end of AC1. Experience a different time period. The Italian renaissance. Looks great! Beautiful open city. Venice/Florence looks stunning!
5:12am - Agent will take players all around the globe in the shadowy world of late 1970s espionage.
5:11am - Trailer ends. Tretton talks about the PS3 line-up. Starts talking about Rockstar games. A new property coming from R* North. It's called "Agent" and is exclusive to PS3.

5:05am - Trailer ends. "2009 is going to be all about content on the PS3". Impossible to do justice of what is coming. Starts a trailer showing everything that is coming to PS3 in 2009. Uncharted 2, Infamous, Madden, FFXIII, MAG, Batman, Tenacious D (WTF?), GT5, Ghostbusters,
5:03am - Trailer starts up showing the evolution of HOME. Pretty much showing what we already know.
5:02am - Moving onto Playstation HOME. More than 6.5 million people worldwide using HOME, 85% returning to use it. 1.5 Million engagements in one month in EA space in HOME. Ubisoft, Capcom, Namco, Eidos are all on board with HOME.
5:01am - Adding 50 PS1 classics to the PSN, starting TODAY with FFXII.

4:57am - Monster Hunter, LBP. Trailer is still going. Nothing we didn't already know about.
4:56am - More PSP stuff. A trailer is being shown, showcasing the new games coming to the handheld in 2009.
4:55am - Tretton comes back on. Talking about Resident Evil. Sold over 40 million games since its debut in 1996. Resident Evil will be coming next year, exclusively to PSP. Awesome! Going through big titles for the PSP.
4:54am - Kaz Hirai comes back on. Wrapping up PSP segment of the keynote.
4:53am - It's a long trailer. Looks good. It's coming in 2010.
4:50am - A trailer is being shown. It looks like old war bomb films. Quotes for anchient war quotes are on screen. Trailer is awesome! It's set in Latin America. Outer Heaven causing trouble in the Caribbean.
4:47am - Talking about the project. It is a PSP MGS game. It is set 10 years after MGS 3. It has Solid Snake. "It's a true sequel for the franchise."
4:46am - Talking about MGS. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker comes up on the screen, as well as the Big Boss picture teased on the Kojima site. Hideo Kojima comes out.
4:45am - October 1st, 2009 comes on the screen. It is launching next to the PSP GO.
4:44am - Trailer is being shown. Looks the goods. Looks amazing actually. This may very well be a system seller.
4:43am - Will be on the show floor.
4:42am - Game is built to foster sharing and co-op play. designed for you to get together with friends to make collecting cars easier.
4:41am - Game will use ad hoc to offer up to four-person races on the go wirelessly. Gran Turismo PSP will also allow the sharing and trading of cars between friends.
4:40am - Single-player modes contain time trials and a mode to improve driving skills.
4:39am - It's a full scale GT title. 60 FPS. Talking more about the game. 800 cars. 35 tracks and 60 layouts of those tracks.
4:38am - Polyphony Digital founder Kazunouri Yamauchi comes on stage and FINALLY confirms Gran Turismo PSP.
4:37am - PSP Video will be available as of today in the US. Showtime is a partner. Over 1,900 TV Shows and 1,400 movies released on the service as of last year.
4:36am - PSP development hardware will be cheaper, making it more attractive for developers.
4:35am - "Media Go" is announced. Meant to make browsing easier. "Sense Me" is announce for PS3 and PSP. It'll automatically generate playlists for you.
4:34am - 50% smaller, 40% lighter than original PSP. 16gb of onboard memory. built in Wi-fi. Slide-out feature. Integrated Blue Tooth
4:33am - SCE CEO Kaz Hirai and is talking about the PSP. Talking about downloadable content. No more hard software. Pulls out the PSP GO! Demo trailer starts up. It's officially called PSP GO. Will not replace the PSP-3000 or the UMD.
4:32am - Talking about PSP. 15 million units sold.
4:30am - The demo shows a charge out of a base. Choppers arrive to bring reinforcements. The demo ends.
4:27am - They are in an oil refinery. Command interface is on display. You can zoom in and out of a 3D map to see the entire landscape. Blue dots are your friends. Lot's of big action.
4:23am - MAG is up now. Massive multiplayer game going to be shown.
4:22am - Demo ends to thunderous applause. It's deserving. It looks sensational. Jack comes back on stage. Says it's the best looking game we've seen. He's not lying. It looks amazing. "Only possible on Playstation."
4:21am - Explosions galour! It looks sensational! Environments are fully destructive. Fire effects look stunning. The environments are incredibly detailed.
4:19am - Nate is moving through an environment. We see the vast draw distance and an amazing village down below. A helicopter comes, starts attacking him. Intense action as he moves from cover to cover, avoiding helicopter fire.
4:17am - Evan Wells from Naughty Dog comes to show Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. BETA online at midnight in the US. starts showing demo. It looks absolutely gorgeous!
4:16am - Talking about inFamous. It's critical acclaim. One of 35 exclusive titles come to PS3 in 2009. Mentions Naughty Dog, original creators of Crash Bandicoot. Talking about Uncharted. Sold 2.6 million units worldwide.
4:15am - 13 million PS3s currently sold. Sackboy shows they are increasing presence in Latin American. Expect retail sales to climb 3 quarters of a billion dollars. PS3 had a monster year in 2008. Registered PSN accounts 24 million+. Numbers are derived from consumer acceptance.
4:13am - Some of the industries biggest titles coming to PS3. Shows some big titles. Heavy Rain gets biggest applause. Says you "need" PS for "ultimate gaming experience." Talking about PS2. Consumer response has been amazing. $99 in the US. Outsold current generation consoles. Committed to the system as long as consumers want it. 9 million more users last year. PS2 "continues to be huge value for consumers". 100 new titles coming.
4:12am - Going to show us why PS will be the "mainstay" of the industry. 2009 will be their best year ever. Only player 3 successful players at once. Every taste, every budget, every need. PS generated a totally of 30% of sales in the industry. Record year of growth.
4:10am - Jack Tretton comes on stage. Thanks everyone for showing up. They won't be "out done" by anyone. Wants to do justice for the 364 games coming on Playstation platforms this year.
