Turok Description:

Turok is an epic, story-driven first-person shooter set on a dark, mysterious planet in the near future. Players take on the role of Joseph Turok, a former Black Ops commando, now part of an elite Special Forces squad on a mission to take down a war criminal on a genetically-altered planet. After the ship is shot down while approaching the planet, Joseph Turok must use his instincts and elite military training to elude an army of well-trained soldiers, and the ravenous, unpredictable creatures that populate the dangerous environment. Joseph Turok’s mission? Survive at all costs.

i dont have a hd tv, so im just playin on a crap TV.. but the graphics aren't that great. the blood is very unrealistic (although when using a knife it looks real sweet for some reason). when the dinosaurs are on the ground (dead) and you shoot them, blood comes out.. but no bullet wounds, no nothing. there should be stuff like this added, even being such a small issue it still should be considered.

Guns are nothing special from what i used. a cross bow, shot gun, mp5? i think it was.. nothing all that new. also, the "zoom" isn't an actualy zoom or anything, basically just magnifies the current screen or w/e and thats it..

i hope the finished version will be excellent though

LMFAO!! That made pretty much zero sense man I think the game will be fantastic, i saw a video recently showing footage of a dinosaur mauling one of the marines, it looks superb. I dont quite get what you mean when you say "AI will collide" From what i have read and seen, the dinosaurs reacte very intelligently for AI. We will soon see i guess, but my money is on Turok being successful.

Its run on the unreal 3 engine there IS co-op, and the main character isn't the usual dude (time hopping Indian). Turok 2 was the possibly the first game to utilize the ram expansion pack for the n64 and as a result gave the best pc's of the day a run for their money.
The dinosaurs will play a more neutral role i.e they may attack your enemies cause a distraction or bite your nuts off. The raptors will hunt in packs and offer fiendish a.i, but unfortunately there will be no "dino rider" antics seen in the later n64 games.
