As many of you probably remember, the Tony Hawks Series practically went down the drain when EA released their first skating title in competition with Tony Hawks: Proving Ground. Since Skate was such a success, EA's Skate 2 is currently under production. While the release of this game was quite a long time ago, only one video and very little information was released. But recently EA have released a new video showing what the gameplay and new town will be like.


At the end of the first Skate, San Vanelona was completely ruinedand left in pieces. Skate 2 starts off five years from then and San Vanelona has been rebuilt with more half-pipes and rails then ever. The unique and interesting "Flick-It" Control System has been confirmed in Skate 2. Scott Blackwood, executive producer of the game recently stated this. "Skate 2 will have double the number of tricks you could do in the first game. In Skate 2 players will be able to use their hands and feet in different ways to do bonelesses, no complies, finger-flips, inverts, hippie-jumps and on and on...".
