A TV crew from America arrive to research and film an exposé on the urban myth of Hanuda, the Vanished Village, where human sacrifices are said to have taken place.

Hanuda is a dark, eerie world, frozen in the 1970s and surrounded by a red sea. An ancient curse has been set upon the town and you, as the visitors, must save the remaining inhabitants including the beautiful Miyako. In order to survive you must defend yourself from the vicious Shibito, or living dead, and other terrifying monsters.

Across 12 chapters of horror, gamers will confront the mysteries of Hanuda in this new chapter of the the cult classic horror game. Throughout the game you will play each of the visitors to the village. The game's unique Sight-Jack System enables you to switch seamlessly between the visions of the hunted and the hunters. Blood, guts and gore are super-enhanced by amazing graphic effects, an advanced physics engine and shockingly realistic facial animations.

Of course. It's survival horror. And I love all things survival horror.

I was going to add a little bit about the first Forbidden Siren, but I decided that it's best to wait til we have more details on this one.
It may be a remake or whatever, but things might be changed a bit.

As for the realese date, one source of info said around July 24th. But I don't know if that's Australia or Japan. That'll be updated later.

Yeah, with Silent Hill 5, Resident Evil 5, Forbidden Siren: New Translation, (those three coming soon) and Condemned 2 (out now) horror fans should be happy. I know I will be.

If you have made yourself a Japanese account, you can download the whole game and the demo.. (Mind you its spoken english, but written japanese). You can get a good feel of the game. And HOLY S@#T, turn up the speakers.. dark room.. japanese horror.. totally scary!!!

when i pause its normal but when i play the level it has a blur thing wtf?

I don't think this is as good as the Silent Hill's as far as horror goes but it was still a creepy game nonetheless. It looked very good as well.

The last chapter was just bogus though, what the hell went wrong there?

I've never noticed any frame rate problems If your a horror fan you'll like it, its also pretty cheap ATM
