Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, have recently announced a new Bluetooth Wireless Headset for the Playstation 3. The headset will be at the price of ¥5,000 which is around $46USD and will be released in Japan on October 30th. The headset will be bundled with a cradle that can be used to charge the headset. The headset will allow up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours on standby mode. It will have an operating range of up to 10 meters from the linked device. The headset can be used on games such as SOCOM: Confrontation which is available October 30th, Resistance 2 which is available November 13th and MotorStorm: Pacific Rift which is being released in Autumn.
