PS3 News \ Mercenaries 2 hitting shelves September 11

Pandemic Studios, a division of Electronic Arts Inc. is proud to announce that its highly anticipated action game, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, will be available in retail stores across Australia on September 11.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is an open-world game set in a massive, fully destructible Venezuela and features over-the-top action, characters and explosions. The game represents an new standard for destructibility within an open-world action game and also features a seamless cooperative multi-player mode that allows friends to enjoy the entire action-packed experience together online.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will invade retail shelves in Australia on September 11 for the XBOX 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2 and PC.

Anyways, I thought it was going to be released this week, nonetheless I'm so looking forward to this one. IGN have said there are a lot of bugs and technical issues but if you like blowing **** up and free roaming then its the game for you, and that is all I need in a game.
