News \ Gran Turismo 5 hitting Japan next year

At a recent interview with popular Japanese gaming mag, Famitsu, GT creator and developer Kazunori Yamauchi has spoken out, claiming that he hopes to have the game completed by next summer, being around June/July 2008.

While there has not been any official word from Sony, one could only assume that the game is obviously in production. Furthermore, any July 2008 Japanese release will probably see a late-2008/early-2009 release for Australia, or even longer.
