Sony Releases PS3 Compatible Bluetooth Mouse

Now available from Sony- the new VGP-BMS80 - a new multi-function Bluetooth laser mouse that comes with their new range of Vaio laptop computers.

This new device is not only a PC remote/laser mouse but a remote control to use on the PS3 when web browsing. It comes with inbuilt software and keyboard functionality for entering text.

The mouse also comes with an optical finger sensor which PS3 owners can use to access XMB menus without the need of a controller.

Highly unlikely. There is an actual mouse out for the PS3 and i think its called the FragFX

It supports every game and if it doesnt you email Splitfish (people who produce it) and they will bring out an update for it.

Do you mean a FPS game for the PS3 or a PC?

If you want to use it for a PS3 fps game, then I'm afraid that only Unreal Tournament 3 is currently the only PS3 shooter that supports a mouse and keyboard usage for gaming. Unfortunately, it's up to the developers to incorporate such options for a game, unless there was a massive patch to make it compatible for all current fps games out now on PS3.

If you're referring to PC games compatibility, then I'm sure it'll work on MW2 and any other fps games.

anyone wanting to use a mouse and keyboard to play a FPS, go and play on a PC ya bloody wankers! seriously!

as for the official PlayStation Keypad.. i like to use it, but they really failed by not provided backlit keys, or at the very least glow in the dark keys
