After just 24 hours on sale Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has sold 1.2 million copies in the United Kingdom.
That type of figure would be amazing if it were referring to worldwide sales, let alone just the UK, and gives some type of indication about how well the most anticipated game of the year will sell. Modern Warfare 2 has already been tipped to break a number of sales records, and it well and truly looks set to do that.
The Prestige and Hardened Editions of the game sold out through preorders pretty much everywhere, but never fear, there's plenty of standard editions left in Australia. Even if it is breaking sales records.
