It has been claimed in an unknown blog entry on GameSpot they have found the first details of the next Prince of Persia game. The blog claimed that the new Prince of Persia will release during the second half of 2008 on Xbox 360, PC, Wii, and PlayStation 3, and will be titled "Prince of Persia: Ghosts of the Past". It is supposedbly the first entry in an all-new trilogy set before "The Sands of Time" and currently in development by Ubisoft Montreal.
It was also stated on the blog that the sequel to "Ghosts of the Past" is already being readied for release alongside the release of Jerry Bruckheimer, Michael Bay-directed "Prince of Persia" movie during the summer of 2009. The blog stated it will also be slightly different to the previous trilogy, describing the new game with having "the dark edginess of the last two titles in favor a fantastical cross between The Sands of Time, Ico, and Zelda,"
The blog also had two pictures (1 Pictured Above) of a very early build of the new Prince of Persia game, picturing the Prince and a mysterious female character.
