News \ First Saw details
Details have emerged about the upcoming Saw video-game which is based on the series of films that pits unsuspecting and "un-greatful" people is scary and twisted situations.
The games developer, Brash Entertainment, have promised that the game will not be another typical and terrible movie-to-game adaption, although the game will use the unherald and infamous Unreal Engine 3. This also means the game will probably appear on Playstation 3, XBOX 360 and maybe even PC.
The game is set to have strong influence from the filmmakers and will take place at various points in the Saw time-line. It's still not due out until sometime next year.
If you can't get enough Saw, this news is great for you. If you can, and surely most of you can, you're probably depressed at the site of yet another Saw inclusion.

Anyway, the movies have been done to death. Anyone who pays to see this in the cinema is a sucker imo, as it's a play-on for money and nothing more. There is no emotion or love in the films. The game will be the same. Meh!

Well, I'll be checking the game out, but more from curiosity than anything else. I don't think I'll be buying a copy though.
The SAW movies are alright, but they won't be part of my minuscule DVD collection.

I think the aussie boys who created saw made the best decision of all time when they pulled out of the concept after the sequal. they sold out to the studio after they persisted to create more and more sequels and hence change the script of saw 2 to keep jigsaw alive. well played to those aussie creators. well played

I love all the Saw movies lol, and yeah the first was the best and the fourth was really good too, so I guess I am the only one that will actually be getting this, and omg Saw 5 starts filming in March lol I can' wait lol...

I agree callan5. The first saw was good as it was a bit different from the usual horror flick. Will this game end up being another Manhunt 2? One has to wonder.

SAW imo is just getting more and more old and lame as the series goes and the game will be no different, its just the same old rubbish *movie kicks off in a rusty dim lit bathroom with one person shackled to a valve yada yada *silly looking pellid hue of jigsaw says in demonic voice: "You must cut off your leg with that blunt object and find the key which is hidden in your flesh *yawn* Saw 1,2,3,4 anyone? They pile on the gore, which is the only thing that i think is remotally interesting, the torture machines are getting more try hard as the series goes as well, what next? next they will have a girl in a bikini running across a field of glass and land mines in order to reach her shoes, her legs will be cut to pieces but atleast she got her shoes back. The only highlight about the SAW films is what they will have featured on the cover. Other than that, i think SAW should just end imo. and the jigsaw puppet is as scary as big bird on sesame street, in other words not scary at all. :s *damn i'll cop abit for this*
