Team Fortress 2 - Review - 9/10

Overview: Team Fortress 2 is a Multiplayer based game. It features no Single-Player, But has a great Online Game-Play. You can choose from 9 different classes, Going from Scout to Spy. The game features 9 maps that you can choose from while online.

Graphics: Team Fortress 2 does not try to be in the realistic type of mod, Unlike Half-Life 2: Episodes 1&2. The graphics for the game were influenced by 20th century cartoon illustrations.



Gameplay: You will be battling online the majority of the time while playing this game. The gameplay will depend on your internet connection and how well you are connected to the host of the online multiplayer game.
Team Fortress 2 is built around two opposing but equal teams competing for an objective. These two teams are meant to represent construction companies: Reliable Excavation & Demolition (RED) and Builders League United (BLU).

Sound: Most of the sounds you are going to hear are either going to be from guns of from the Taunts of other players.
The sound for the game is great, making you feel like your in the zone

Classes: There are currently 9 playable classes in TF2. The overall class structure is made for balance within the 2 teams which are fighting (RED and BLU). These classes are listed under: Offense(Scout,Soldier and Pyro), Defence(Engineer,Heavy and Demoman) and Support(Medic,Spy and Sniper)

Scout: The scout class is built to try and score as many points as possible in the shortest amount of time. The scout features the ability Double Jump. His weapons are: Pistol, Shotgun and a Baseball Bat.

Soldier: Soldiers have a high damage tolerance and have the feature to Rocket Jump. His weapons are: Rocket Launcher, Shotgun and a trenching tool(for close up).

Pyro: The pyro with his flamethrower can cause emense damage and can also set players on-fire with his flamethrower for a certain amount of time sucking their health. His weapons are: Flamethrower, Shotgun and a fire axe.

Heavy: The heavy is the toughest class in the game. His weapons are: Minigun(He calls it 'Sasha') , A shotgun and his fists.

Engineer: One of the best things about the engineer is his ability to build a senetry gun(Machine gun and rockets). His weapons are: Shotgun, Pistol and wrench(Dont forget that he can build some powerful things.)

Demo-Man: The demoman has a sitcky bomb launcher so he can attach his bombs to things and then detonate them when he wishes to. His weapons are: Sticky Bomb Launcher, Grenade Launcher and a Bottle of Scotch.

Medic: Pretty explainatory, A medics job is to heal others players and try and keep the alive for aslong as possible. His weapons are: 'Medigun', Syringe firing flechette launcher and a bonesaw.

Sniper: The best class to use if your into using those long range classes. His weapons are: Bolt-action Sniper Rifle, Sub-Machine Gun and Machette.

Spy: The stealthy type character for the game. He can turn invisible for a certain amount of time and can also turn use a disguise to look like the other team. His weapons are: Revolver, Butterfly Knife and Electric-Sapper.

Maps
The game comes packaged with 6 different types of maps for different types of play.

2Fort, a capture the flag map.
Dustbowl, a control point map.
Granary, a control point map.
Gravel Pit, a control point map.
Hydro, a territorial control map.
Well, a control point map.


Summary: Team Fortress 2 is a great online game to play with your friends. If your an extreme hardcore gamer that likes intense multiplayer, Dont get this game.
