News \ GT5 Prologue available March 27th for PS3
Sony Computer Entertainment Australia have recently confirmed their hotly-anticipated Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be available from the 27th of March on Blu-Ray disc exclusively for the PlayStation 3 console, with a downloadable version releasing on the PlayStation Network on the 28th, w/ a price of $59.95
Also announced was an all-new PS3 bundle which will include a 40GB PlayStation 3 console, a SIXAXIS wireless controller and a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The bundle will also be available at retail stores from the 27th at a price of $699.95

$60 for a few cars??? Try 60 cars, all with individual handling, characteristics and in-car viewpoints.
There's 12 tracks (6 locations) albeit a lot of them are very similar.
It'll be unreal especially as soon as I get this Logitech Gt wheel.

Apparently Sony announced yesterday that GT5 was pushed back till sometime in 2009.
I wasnt going to bother with prologue but if i have to wait that long..i'll be getting it.

But $60 for a few cars and a few tracks? I guess its alright, its half the price of most PS3 games Even if its just a snippet of whats to come

Anyone who thinks $60 is too steep needs a soft slap across the frame! GT5 Prologue is GT5 Prologue, THE ultimate racing simulation until the real GT5 is out, besides be nic3, Polyphony Digital only want your money XD Im definitely giving them my $60! I GT5!!!!

...yeah they are saving, packaging, printing and shipping costs, so the downloadable version should be at least 5 dollars cheaper.
