News \ Grand Theft Auto 4 Multiplayer Bad Sides
all that we have heard in the past 4 or so months has been all positive, which was hyping things up for gamers, except some downfalls like the censoring in australia. now some news is revealed thanks to IGN journalists Patch Kolan and Cam Shea.
this is what they said;
"The depth-of-field blur effect is far too heavily applied to the multiplayer game. Everything that is more than 50 feet down the street from you starts to pixelate and distort strangely, as if filtered through a haze of tiny droplets of vegetable oil."
which is pretty true, in some multiplayer pics you can see blurry buildings and other scenery is low qualiaty.
We will just have to wait untill april 29 to decide for ourselves!

its probably to keep the frame rates stable or something, processing 16 characters (or so has been said) AND having a full draw distance might create some slow down problems.
especially if those 16 people are all armed with RPGs...

Well I don’t know if the build that the people who wrote the article where playing is going to be the final retail version. So like I said stuff like that can be fixed before the game is gold and sent off to the disc making factories.
And if not it can be patched.

It doesn't sound like its anything that would wreck the game, just slight graphical drops in how the game looks whilst playing online (Damn that sounded nerdy
