Does anyone remember back in april 2006 Ubisoft released the very first trailer of Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway? After seeing some destrutible enviroments, immersive animantio and gritty physics the society had some kind of high expectations for this game. It is now two years later and we are still waiting patiently for the final product . Though a a mission of the latest build of the game called Black Friday was experienced. Black Friday is the seventh mission in the game, which takes place in a rainy European village. As the rain pours down, the German forces begin to advance on the town of Veghel. You squad stands between theam and the Nazi's. A key element for Hell's Highway is the emotional impact on the player, as Gearbox's President Randy Pitchford has pointed this out. You take the roll of Staff Sergeant Matt Baker, he is a fleshed out and believable character who frequently interacts with his squad and has to face emotional and physiological impacts in life and death of the battlefield. The player is too positioned to actually care about the result of the bad tactical decisions made. Hence, we will have to wait for the final product to see Hell's Highway's full potential.
