Information on Call of Duty: World at War, the fith edition to the Call of Duty Series
has recently been revealed. This particular COD Game will be quite the same as COD4
but the developer has also added in more features. Some of these features inclue the
flamethrower and the ability to burn down houses and foliage. The game is primarily
set in teh Pacific, but also spreads out into other regions. The US Forces are trying
to defeat Imperial Japan. Frank Kearsy, the military adviser makes sure that this war
is rough, tough and terrifying.
Not only do you have to fight the Japanese, but also the Russians who are invading Germany.
The Nazi forces are feriouscly trying to defend their major bases like Berlin. There is also
a new feature that will allow the team leader to issue commands to his troops.
The mutliplayer aspect of COD: World at War will be ver similar to everyones favourite
online game, COD4. Although COD5 online will have been features that will suit the games
time period. In online, flamethrowers will be able to be used to melt the skin of opponents
faces and set grass and trees ablaze.
Treyarch said that the development time should be 2 years unlike the 11 months it took to make
COD3. Different teams are working on different versions, Xbox 360 Team being the lead. This is
set to be coming out for the PS3, 360, PS2, Wii, PC and also the Nintendo DS.
