In in the wake of the release of Metal Gear Solid 4. Japanese Playstation 3 sales where at the number one position this week.

In the sales period between the 9th and 15th of June Sony managed to move just over 75,000 consoles. Which is an increase of almost 700% over last week’s sales. Metal Gear Solid 4 also debuted at the number one spot in the software charts this week and managed to sell 465,000 copies in the same period

4. Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball Portable 3 (PSP) - 27,000 / 187,000
5. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP) - 26,000 / 2,203,000
