Well, as long as you have the orginal carts/cds most games from the internet can be played on it, including PS1 games, and later N64 games.

There are rumours of a PSP2/PSP4000 arriving before Xmas. Just a rumour, but with the DSi and the iPod taking PSP sales from SONY, I wouldn't be surprised.
Word is there might be an announcement at E3. I doubt it however because PSP sales would virtually stop with everyone waiting for the new model to arrive.

I'm hopeful a new model arrives...I want one.

wiz has sht compatbility with ps3 where psp or psp2 can easily connect to ps3 for streamning and in future, connection with ps3 games - can act as a rear view mirror etc forps3 games.

more hardware support and game support for psp2 or psp, it has the backing of sony where wiz has the backing of ???. whats stopping the wiz owner to stop producing it, to give up go bankrupt. sure sony can go bankrupt to, but i am sure wiz would go down first before psp does. psp also has better wi fi play. connect to other psp or psp2's for ome ad hoc wifi action. you take your wiz out and most people will just be like WTF is that. who are you going to play with? no one? and also you talk about future game support coming to the wiz, yea like what games? is the portable LBP coming to it? will future versions of lets say, patapon 3 come to it? resistence? no , wiz will get fancy flash games, ooo aaa, and who said the psp2 wont be able to play flash games? you say wiz can play ps1 games, so what? so can the psp/. what makes a great portable game player is the GAMES! thats why xbox is kiccking sony psp, its cose sony has less games, less good games. your wiz doesnthave anything, psp2 will atleast have a back log of games and support from sony - think of games like god of war chains of olympus, your wiz has got nothing!

I've been portable gaming for years, have had most portable gaming machines, have recently bought a PSP after a week of PSP? or DSI? i went with the psp because of the DSi removed the GBA slot rendering the Guitar Grip Useless.

The PSP is ok, feels like its missing something, cool it can do the whole remote play with the PS3 tho.

But someone needs to do something awesome to Portable gaming (like portable quitar hero) awesome again! for now its just fills the time on the bus ride to and from work.

Maybe hold out till something good arrives is my advise

I dont think its a major feature but its cool, better than tranfering pokemon from you ds to your wii
