This morning a message popped up on my computer. It said something about an error with something called Tm Proxy module followed by [-1/PH0/ENG00020000]
I have no idea what this means, and the computer shop here is closed (I could only drop in over my lunch break which is now almost over). Can anyone help?
Any help is appreciated. But keep it simple (I'm not a computer genius).

Also, I think this thread could be dedicated to computer problems (I looked for something similar, but didn't find anything).

Because that was the sound of it dying horribly.

Basically though, it means you're surfing without a antivirus (The error message was it stuffing up, or rather, the scanning parts and autoprotect type stuff stuffing up.)



Restart your computer, soon preferably.
If you get the errror after you restart your computer, uninstall and reinstall it.

But anyway that file is a Trend Micro file so perhaps try re-installing it.

I can't do anything at the moment because I'm now at TAFE. The internet isn't turned on though, so will it be fine until about 4pm?

It could be because of spyware/adware/viruses though. No internet package is 100% fool proof. You should get a couple of other programs and scan your puter. AdAware, NoAdware, Spybot Search and Destroy. Run them and you'll be sweet.

Anyway, I uninstalled the software, reinstalled it, and now I'm doing a scan (I had to go out to get a coke halfway through though, otherwise someone was going to get hurt ).

Thanks for all the help guys. Hugs for everyone!! And yeah, I suppose I might be a little hypo. I'll try to calm down.

I'll download that other stuff as soon as the scan has finished. So far it's found 3 things that I need to have a look at in the Spyware thing, but that's normal. They're usually only cookies.

I use various products, but yeah, AVG free is one of the main ones I use, alongside Spybot: Search and Destroy.
