Overseas game version with local save

Hi guys,

Just checking, for Fallout 3, i want to buy the GOTY edition from o/s but want to know if it works with my existing save game from a local copy.

Any help would be great thanks

might work if its from a region with the same format, ie PAL if its a local save (so you could buy it from UK/NZ/?). but im not 100% sure, so someone would have to confirm...

but im 100% sure you CANT do it if you buy it from USA/JAP etc
