How to use a Pre-Paid Visa on the Australian PSN
There's a lot of cool content on the PSN but not everyone has access to a credit card to make purchases. Here's an alternative that anyone can use, I'll let Skua walk you through how to use a pre-paid Visa on the Australian PSN.
Here is a guide I just made regarding the use of PRE-PAID VISA on the PSN (AUSTRALIA). I bought both midnight club LA car packs, and the Killzone 2 steel and titanium pack.
I'm guessing you don't have a Visa if your reading this, so here is what you will have to do. Go out to your post office or 7/11 and buy a pre paid Visa.
It can come in either $50 or $100 , both with a $5.95 activation fee. Wait 24 hours, then check on the website, www.prepaidshop.com.au and make sure it says your card is activated. Then go to your PS3 console, and access the PSN account settings. From there you want to make sure you use the correct payment type, Select VISA.
Input exactly what it says, even the name on the front! Then you will be taken to the next page, for billing. you don't have to put your real address if you want to. Then add the funding you desire, I did added $20
There you go, your all set to go!
