In order to play online you must have current squads,i went to download latest squads 27/09 but it keeps saying EA servers unavailable try later,what is wrong?

You probably need to change your nat type on your ps3. Run an internet connection test on your ps3 and if it comes up with nat 3 it needs to be changed. google it for guides. it says this in the fifa manual

I answered this in the other thread about FIFA...and I hope it helps.
Yes I know what you are tlking about and the solution is to download the squad from the team managment screen and save it as squads 1 or something...now make sure you have autosave off first though....all if you have already made changes to teams then it will overwrite it.
So essentially what I am saying is have two squad files one that you have customised and one that you downloaded. Now before you go online load the downloaded squad and you should be right. Also when you exit a single player mode e.g manager mode or tourny it resets to default so you have to load the online squad again to play. I hope that makes sense and helps. Maybe one day I'll give you a game online.
BTW be aware if you have autosave on when going to team mangagment with the downloaded rosters loaded it will alter that roster and automatically save and you'll have to download again.

when i try and go to a lobbie and play with a person i cant accept my team and they cant seem to select a team at all. does anybody know how to fix this

this happens randomly for me (i guess when connecting to people having problems like yourself!)
can you connect to quick matches?
i think its just that theres issues between yourself and the person matching connections.

Yeah I can play quick matches unranked and rankes. be a pro quick matches but when i try and play online through the lobbies it does that with the teams its dissapointing coz i really wanna play with my mates online. it adds a whole new level of gaming to the fifa

i think its just a compatibility issue. i dont know what exactly but thats the only thing i can think of why this happens.
