Play TV Problems

Hi there,
I am having some really frustrating issues with my play tv! I didnt buy it, it was a gift that my bro got off ebay, so I don't even know where it is from. However, I know that I need to update to version 1.21 but my ps3 doesnt seem to let me. Help! What do I need to do? I can hook my laptop up to digital tv no probs, but when I install playtv, there is no Australia section, just United Kingdom and so forth.
If anyone out there can help me or suggest something, I would greatly appreciate it

If its from overseas you can always do the update off an Australian disk? I'd try that to be honest

on the PlayTV i recieved for Christmas in the original setup there isnt a section for Australia either, i believe i chose something like rest of the world, then when it scans it finds the channels anyway
