Ok, Ive been playin Tony Hawk Project 8 for the last 30mins against my GF in split screen on our big screen (142")... And i feel totally sick in the stomach, motion sickness like...

Anyone else get this playin PS3?

I dont get it on any other console.. or any PC games. Just when playin the PS3, and so far only with TonyHawk 8.

I havent got it with PS3 yet, but I've found that the newwer FPS on PC such as Doom 3, HL2, etc. give me the same effect, while UT and CS are fine. I read an article on this a while ago and if I remember correctly it has something to do with the [dull] graphics and refresh rate that our brains respond to in a certain manner.

I like to enjoy my multimedia experiences

Im planning on a bigger screen in the next month or so thinkin of goin to 150" or 160". Its just convincing the GF to let me re-arrange a few things lol.

The thread is about motion sickness when gaming... as i personally get it when playin Tonyhawk8 but only in Split screen mode (2player)

Incidently i also used to get it on my 19" LCD playing Half Life 2.

Do you get it at all on ur screen pirarefunk?
