i bought a game off ebay this week, pay for it using direct deposit, and now i find out , they have done a runner with $50 of my money, i am so upset and would really want to see people who do these things rot in hell
(sorry, im a bit angry right now and just want to vent my frustration)

well why do you use ebay, buy your items instore



and report it to the ebay support so they can track the person(s)

F1 championship edition, it was ebay that told me all their items were fraugelent, but they told me that after i payed, they had a heap of items. if i do use ebay(there are some bargains) i will only use paypal

if you want to buy things off the internet, try to buy it from a company rather than a person, so instead of Ebay try these:

Sorry to hear about your problem with ebay, really need to careful & not buy from sellers with low feedback scores. I have been using ebay for years now & have been lucky enough to have never had any problems.

Ebay is great when you don't get ripped off. I'm sure everyone knows to check the sellers feedback and so on.
But even then there's still a chance that you will get ripped off.

There are a lot of reputable sellers on ebay. I got nearly all my games from there. Just look at feedback, and NEVER EVER pay direct deposit. And never buy if the price is a token cost and shipping high (another ripoff tactic for buyer protection avoidance)

I think PayPal has some kind of protection or something for when that happens....

I haven't had a bad experience on ebay yet (thank god), although ... I haven't actually bought a PS3 game on ebay yet.
However, I've sold one (Ridge Racer 7) but obviously I was a good honest seller

Sorry to hear buddy, You could also report it to the police, because it's theft. I would recommend that you always read their profile and negative feed back, and + 1 for Paypal due to the buyer protection. I know its the principal, but at least it's only $50- and not more. Hope every thing works out for you.

ok. well i bought a game from this guy too on thursday and paid him via paypal and he cracked the sh*ts! coz i didn't pay via bank deposit. guess my game wont be coming tomorrow as i thought it would! i also got an email from this person too. can i give this to the police to try and find IP address etc?
