My whole point of listing all the companies involved was to show that theres more to blu-ray than just SONY. Mention blu-ray & everyone says SONY, its wrong, simple as that & ive proved that.

I wouldnt say your a Bill gates puppet... wouldnt be surprised if your Bill Gates himself, the way you talk. Digital downloads are a decade off and anyway consumers prefer hard copies - perfect example is CD's, they still outsell music sold online. The US and Japan are the only countries that have a chance of having broadband speeds even remotely close to allowing a HD movie download in a reasonable time period. Blu Ray has won the HD war and its time you got over it. Microsoft backed the wrong format and thats all there is to it. Sounds like you were one of the unlucky consumers that purchased a HD-DVD add on drive for your 360, how ripped off you must feel. If you want Ill happily take it off your hands for a slab of VB.

digital download would suck... for 1. downloading a game would take up all my download usage. 2.my harddrive wouldnt hold more than 2 games and 3. id rather a hard copy than a file image... i dont see digital download hitting off for another 5 years. by than the xbox1440 will b out

Isn't there already a Blue-Ray thing that you can buy for X-box 360 for $250 - $600? I think's for movie's only though.
But personaly, I don't think the X-box 360 need's to go HD - DVD becuase they are pretty much running and computer grapthic's anyway...

Digital downloads - c'mon... no way - before they would take off - let along challenge actual dvd and various hi def discs the entire scenario would have to change.
Downloads - way to long a process and too congested
Watching it - not many reliable media boxes to stream it - and Microsoft through DRM and HDCP will never make it easy for machines to easily play it all back nicely - only 1-2 machines (like TVIX 4100 or Ziova) that do it well now.
Not being able to copy it - people wont stand for that...
Storing it cheaply - not until we get 1 or 2tb drives for like $50. LOL
Disc media is here to stay for the long run make no mistake - B Gates is deluded. He's too rich to make any sense.
The point Im making - Microsoft have got some MAJOR headaches in store for then when, not if, HD dvd fails if it already hasnt.
