considering a large percentage of HD tvs out there are LCD's it sounds a little crazy that it wouldn't work :s.
LOL, the ps3 only looks good on lcds and plasmas! wtf would they only make it work on crap tvs??

its not the game makers its the tv manufactures..in my tv manual it says some guns games may not work..

well, I guess I don't have to emphasise how much that sux! 
ye, some gun games might not work 
but do you really think a reliable brand who sony has supported since ps1 would not take into account that many ps3 owners own a hd lcd or plasma jus get a known brand of tv jus to be safe

The new Gcon will supposedly work with anything... you calibrate it by making six (I think it was six) shots around the edge of the screen, then one in the middle. It remembers where the dots are and works that way... bit crap that this one doesn't work though, they should figure something out.

If this gun works with any plasma, lcd, or computer monitor i cant see why the gcon wouldn't.
the older gcons dont work with LCD tvs. the new one that came with TC4 dose but the older ones dont 
.

**** are some of you guys blind?, he said the GUNCON 2 doenst work on LCD's. he is using the ps3 to play an old game on a new tv.
Of course it doesnt, this is the gun that came with time crisis 2 and 3 i believe for the playstation 2. It only works on CRT tv's as long as they are not 100hz.
as posted, the new time crisis 4 guncon 3 will work on lcd's but the setup is very complex, it uses sensors placed around the screen.
