I still don't get why some people think that $500 cables offer better quality than $100 ones.
Seriously, it would take them (the manufacturer) $80 to make a good quality HDMI cable, then they sell it for $500 by advertising all these craps about their "good quality" and how they are the best ones.
Guys, don't buy any cables that cost over $200, because they are not worth it.
HDMI = digital, so there can be no loss of quality, if the output is 100%, the input will be 99.99% minimum. Only the build quality and the type of connector (gold recommended) that matters.
