Anyone for playstation 1 ? Yea good ol days eh ? , i know i know, remember playing the exclusive to playstation versions of Devil May Cry ? Remember being loyal to capcom and playstation ? rememebr being loyal to activision for giving birth to Tony Hawk exclusivly for playstation and its customers ? . I kniw u might be thinking , why the hell should i answer these questions ? well keep reading u will get me soon. Year 2000 , arrival of the plystation 2, this time with competition , the XboX !!! , Still remember playing ypur playstation exclusive titles of Gran theft auto , being loyal to rockstar for giving birth to the biggest hit title of gaming industry , remember when u bought the playstation exclusive title ? , rememeber when u held that playstation exclusive title in your hand how rich u made rockstar ? , Even though XboX was lurking around the corner rockstar was loyal to us fans and made it a playstation exclusive , they got all they wanted fame , cash and to a lesser extent lawsuits 
. But anyway Do u also rememebr playing DMC on exclusive ps2 ?? what a game hey,capcom was like rockstar loyal to usplaystation fans and the company , they got what they wanted, fame , cash and a life . Next Gen consoles arrive . Its again Playstation vs XboX. 3 vs 360 , but hang on , why the rivarly ? who created it ? the answer THE FREAKIN DEVELOPERS !!!!! why did they make playstation exclusive titles now available

to the xbox ? Why were we stabbed in the back after being loyal to the game developers for so many dam years ? Money ? well look at it this way, the copies that are sold on the xbox version have already been PIRATED !!! thats right , when i went to asia and america people were buying duds not real genuine copies !!! , why do u think the xbox is selling so much in the north and asia ? cos people buy a dollar games for it , if they had been exclusive playstation titles they would actually be making more money from blu ray genuine copies not duds !!! , gaming is not the same anymore , i love sony i love them for being loyal to us, taking the grind for us fans , they are working very hard for us fans, lets appreaciate games like RFOM and motorstorm, i have never played such odd games on any of my other playstation consoles . If it were any other company who got kicked in the balls so hard by these developers they would have thrown in the towel , i will never be loyal to anyone except sony , hell with u rockstar

Because they can make more money if they sell their game’s on multiple consoles. It’s plain and simple. And dose it really matter if it’s exclusive, if the game is good then I don’t care how many platforms it’s on.

Far out man, you're a passionate loyal fan of Sony, or a fanboy Doesnt make a big difference to me, if a once exclusive franchise ends up going multiplatform, its not like its leaving the console, its just expanding its fan base which is probably a good idea and to an extent makes everyone happy. I personally could care less about the whole loyalty thing, if a game that was once ONLY on PS3 and moved to become 360 exclusive or vice versa, i'd buy the title either way

the other problem of course is sony has forced some companies to go exclusive with the Xbox 360 or release games on the PS3 a lot later because the dev. environment isn't as easy to work with.... this should get better in the future though. Look at how games are coming out, running faster and possibly looking better on the 360 over the PS3. coding on the 360 isn't much harder than coding for the PC, with XNA. the PS3 however, which I think uses a modified version of opengl?? or something similar is supposidly a bitch to code for.

Hey i get ur point true i agree with u . But sooner or later playstations power will be tapped and then what will happen is developers wont be a ble to take use of the machine because games need to be developed for multi platforms then whats ur point on that

You have to look at it this way, it works both ways, Xbox 360 snagged Assassins Creed and Devil May Cry 4, while Sony made deals to keep Heavy Rain and HAZE, PS3 exclusive. Both consoles have there flag ship titles, 360 has its exclusive Halo, Project Gotham, DOA and Fable franchise why Sony has its MGS4, GT5, Tekken 6 and Final Fantasy XIII. Just depends on what you want to play and how badly you want to play it, i want to play Tekken 6 and MGS4 REAL BADLY, so PS3 is my first choice, but i still love my 360 as well

I can totally understand ones displeasure of not being able to play a game on the console you own but hey, thats the industry now, you either pick one console and make do with the great games that will come out on it or you go win/win, get both, which is what i just had to do for me to play both Heavenly Sword and Bioshock.
