I'm with you there PlayFr3ak. In my mind if a developer is making games for both the 360 and the PS3 they are likely not going extend the PS3 to its full capabilities, both in terms of processor power and storage capabilities. I mean, why would they? If they did, the devs are essentially developing two games instead of one anyway substantially increasing the dev cost.
Take the Wii as a prime example. I love playing the Wii, but anyone can see that the majority of games out for it are ports from PS2 or Gamecube games. Only titles made exclusively for the Wii (and yeah there are some crap ones of these too) are really pushing the little white box to its limits, and the results are games that are very good indeed.
When you take into consideration pirating on top of this, in my mind, developers should be rewarding/supporting Sony for placing a huge amount of effort and absorbing a huge amount of risk in going down the road of Blue ray. Really....does sony lose money from pirating? Or do the devs lose? I'll let you figure that one out for yourself.
