Nightphant was the one who helped me out with Entropay.
I helped Sstick98 out with his Entropay account.
And we've been using Entropay without any problems.

I don't know who else experienced success. I can only remember Sstick98 because he appreciated my help.

But maybe something has changed, I don't know.
But I can't exactly help you guys out if it has.
I can't exactly "delete my account" so I can figure out another way for you guys. Sorry, but yea.

edit - by the way folk, my advice would be to try it his way first....then if it doesnt work, go back to entropay.com and change your home address there to match your US one (but dont change your personal VISA card's details (funding source)), cos id much rather be doing it that way, its just one step more legitimate

In all honesty, I hope to god the mini guide I just wrote still works for someone. Are you the only person experiencing a problem with Entropay, ozchap?

I decided to write up the mini-guide because I saw everyone asking the question and most of them were too lazy to search for the guide I typed up earlier in the "Rock Band PS3" thread.

as for other people having problems, mate i get the feeling heaps of non-member types of people come here with problems like this but are too lazy to sign up and ask the question themselves so they just wait cos they figure sooner or later it'll get covered...

I do notice that there are new members posting in Entropay-related threads asking "so how do I do this Entropay thing?" or asking about a problem they've encountered.

Kinda surprised Entropay ia accepting a fake address - its linked to your AU CC (or similar funding source) so I would presume (as it was in my case) you have to give them your correct details.

Only place I've ever used a fake US address was whn I originally setup the PSN profile I use for US DLC - other than that, never again (cant even remember what it was now anyway . . . )

No problems my friend. Glad you're using it without any probs for the Rock Band DLC

Yea, the only time I used a fake US address was in my American PSN account. In fact, I've changed my American address once too. I changed it from Texas to Alaska after finding out that Texas charges 6.25% state tax, whereas Alaska charges 0%!

So yea, my "residential address" has changed. No idea about my "billing address" (which is what ozchap and I still don't understand)

1 more thing I notice that may go wrong is, you must choose 'yes' to the question - "Is the billing address same as the home address". If you choose no, then it won't work.

I am not sure whether anyone got charged 1 dollar for the 1st transaction. I loaded $15 into my entropay account, wanting to buy exactly $15 item in the store. But I got rejected from adding the wallet. Tried adding $10 instead and it went through. Went to check entropay, got deducted $11. But subsequent transaction, i added $5 to my wallet and deducted exactly $5. Not sure why the extra $1. But I am happy I can finally bought what I want.

it may just be a problem with their side like i was having the other day & it might resolve itself by tomorrow. otherwise, depending on what the error message says, my only advice is to be logical about the addresses you enter in

youve ticked YES to billing address = residential address. right? Easy thing to miss, and it stuffs everything up.

BTW - Wutang's guide above works fine = thats exactly how I setup & used my Entropay account

So i shouldnt tick yes or I should tick yes ? I think im mgonna have to cancel the account & start again as I cant find a way to change the box your talking about, im pretty sure I ticked yes.
