samsung N8 or M8, that is the question now damnit, the M8 is going way over my budget.. but it looks to be the better tv. better contrast ratio, better picture etc for abt 300bucks more.

Manufacturers use their own ways to rate/test contrast ratio. A samsung claiming to have a 1:8000 Contrast ratio, may be the same as a Philips claiming a 1:1500. There is no universal standard for contrast ratio. So you realy need to see them on display, in diffrent lighting conditions.

Now that is the top of the pops for TVs at the moment. In fact have been for a couple of years. Can't beat Pioneer plasmas, especially the new Kuro. In any respect. You do indeed get what you pay for.

I can only assume that you would want to watch blu-ray movies with your PS3 too, i mean who wouldnt

so i would suggest 100hz..FD3S, technically pls explain how fast motion in games isn't affected by 60hz models. V synch?
