edit - its gonna be hard to unlock those new areas though. one of them involves the granny, the tunnel and ooching....that one might not be so bad, depending how many times you have to do it. but the other one involves the bikini chick and grab-bombs, i imagine it would be pretty hard to bomb that bikini chick way up on the top back building......depending if you do it in normal downtown or aftermath......maybe the bombs are positioned differently 
or maybe you have to unlock the granny one first, then that gives you a different angle on getting to the chick with a bomb crate in hand. this is exciting im gonna suss it out

Its going to be a good update. New challenges and the Platinum club sound good to 
EDIT: Just remebered if it is not on the AUs PSN you can download it off the US PSN because it is a free update

yeah but if its official PAIN DLC getting it from the US store will be pointless as it wont be compatible with our game......unless you bought PAIN from the US store originally through entropay
hope it comes to our store, if they said "all future work worldwide" or whatever then it should be ok

edit - oh i see what u mean, cos its free it will be compatible? maybe......maybe
but the free GH3 stuff on the US store doesnt work on my guitar hero

It's very doubtful that US content will work with your AUS pain, although the European store gets updated first so technically Europe should have it first in a simultaneous worldwide release!
I'll be giving this game another go for the first time in about 3 months!

yeah it won't be compatible unless you bought PAIN from the US store to begin with.
the in-game community web page's blog mentioned all this stuff would be delivered via a patch, which would have been much easier i reckon 
unless of course it ends up releasing in all the PSN stores tomorrow

I wouldnt expect the Pain update anytime soon on the AU PSN, they only just released the Poker add-on just yesterday that the US had about 6 months ago, same with the Poker video add-on, it took about 3 months to appear after being released on the US PSN.

Pain update is up.
Jukebox isn't as easy to use as HVB jukebox can't access all songs unless you've created a playlist and can't skip songs without accesing the menu.
Two new locations for the slingshot in the city, to unlock first grab the granny as you sling down into the subway and leave her on the train tracks to eventually get hit by the train on subsequent slings.

yep, in a patch too, much easier delivery system......cuts out the incompatibility issues
edit - just what i thought, with the new areas, you have to unlock the granny one first before you can bomb the bikini girl to unlock the second one
edit - damn they're easy to unlock.....nothing like unlocking ed the mascot, which took me nearly an hour

oh man i cant bring myself to download that song......think ive left the game on in the background for way too long while friends were over etc......im gonna put playlists in my console just to get rid of that damn song now!!!

is that the girl on the hotel roof , how do i bomb her ?
im assuming it is, so far ive ive tried bombing her by grabbing her & rebounding into the bomb after hitting the gas tank first but that didnt seem to work.
