Chris sounds like there is a problem with the programming across both Xbox360 and PS3 and almost evryone who has bought the game is unable to finish a game without it locking up their machine.

EA claim to be working on a patch but apparently the freeze error has affected both Nascar 09 and NCAA 09 so far.

Hope it's fixed by the time my copy arrives....

How the hell could they let a bug like that slip through... do they even play their games before they release them! lol.

I think the graphics, animations and modes of play are much better than last year but not the gameplay itslef. I love my NFL and Madden but this year just didnt do it for me...and with all the freezing when playing online games, that turned me off a little.

I like madden, thing that makes me angry is that, 1. Running the ball is near impossible, 2. the defense's reaction speed and closing speed is way too fast. 3. Players change direction while running way to fast.

Other wise great game!

I love NFL in real life and I enjoy Madden games as we really have no other choice in regards to NFL games...but i was utterly disappointed in the gameplay of this years version. And unfortunately the things that you mention are all the things that make the game unrealistic and made me return the game after a few hours of playing along with game freezes ofcourse

i have only once had a freezing issue (i havent tried online yet)
