Yeah it's got something to do with your browser settings or something, but it generally gives a good indication.

Dear MrPS3,
Could you please implement a feature where a small coloured window pops up whenever you have received a NEW PM.
You see, 'sometimes' I am not aware that I have received a new PM till much later on...or worst still, TILL IT'S TOO LATE (urgent PM from some hopeful).
Please reply asap.

Thing is, it's not as noticeable as the old MyMedia system. Because the box is always there, whether you have a new PM or not. Before, they was no box if there was no PM. Old system was better.
